Back To School – we are marking that annual event with a two-hour Our Miss Brooks special, four episodes of the Eve Arden led comedy series.

Birthdays this week include – Alan Ladd (Box 13, Screen Director’s Playhouse version of both “Chicago Deadline” and “Lucky Jordan); announcer Don Wilson (multiple Jack Benny Shows); Amanda Randolph (The Beulah Show); Kenny Delmar (Senator Claghorn on The Fred Allen Show); Charlie Cantor (Finnegan on Duffy’s Tavern); author Edgar Rice Burroughs (Tarzan); Grace Matthews (The Shadow, Suspense) and we also mark the 78th anniversary of Milton Berle’s radio debut with a couple episodes of his variety show plus the 60th anniversary of the debut of the western series Dr. Six-Gun with a new to the channel broadcast.

Additional new to the channel offerings from The Molle Mystery Theater, Mr. Keen Tracer of Lost Persons, Let George Do It, Archie Andrews, The Life Of Riley, The CBS Radio Workshop, Duffy’s Tavern and the late 70s early 80s revival program – The Mutual Radio Theater.
