I think we are into Spring, right? I know here where I broadcast from (The Washington DC area), the next snowstorm might be just around the corner! Either way, we have another great week of shows, and here are some highlights:

The channel debut of a revival series, The Mutual Radio Theater from 1980. Produced and directed by Elliott Lewis, hosted by Vincent Price with a script by Arch Oboler and the following cast; Betty Lou Gerson, Vic Perrin, Parley Baer and Fletcher Markle (it’s actually part of a birthday tribute for him)

A Centennial Celebration for Richard Denning (George in My Favorite Husband, Jerry in Mr. & Mrs. North) and additional birthday tributes for Joan Crawford (Screen Director’s Playhouse’s “The Damned Don’t Cry” plus new to the channel Suspense episode “The Ten Years”); Paula Winslowe (Peg on The Life Of Riley and featured in Suspense’s “Goodbye, Miss Lizzie Borden”); Frank Lovejoy (Suspense’s “The Long Night” plus two new to the channel offerings from Night Beat); writer Lucille Fletcher (“The Thing In The Window”, “Night Man” and “Sorry, Wrong Number”); Ed Begley, Sr (The Fat Man, Richard Diamond, Philip Marlowe); writer Phil Rapp (The Bickersons, Baby Snooks & Daddy); Andy Clyde (California Carlson in Hopalong Cassidy).

The new show from the 80′s..Mutual Radio Theater is GREAT. Keep them coming. I love the Westerns, Mysteries, plays, movie re-dos, Detectives….esp Johnny Dollar!!….Although I do like Fibber McGee & Molly, Jack Benny, The Bickersons, and Baby Snooks, Gildersleeve, and Our Miss Brooks…I am not so much a fan of most of the comedy features offered.
Keep up the good work. I don’t know what I would do without this channel in my daily life!
