If you haven’t grabbed and printable up the weekly schedule yet, remember it is always available at http://gregbellmedia.com/ShowSchedules.html

Hey gang, cruise update – we still have cabins available, but you have to hold one soon if you want to come along this time. The inaugural event back in June (NYC – Bermuda) was a great success and the 2nd cruise will depart August 10th out of Port Canaveral, Florida with stops in The Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. During the 7 days cruise, we’ll do all kinds of great classic radio stuff, once again including re-creating radio plays live on stage, sound effects and all. If ya think you can join me – head on over to http://www.cruisingwithgregbell.com/  or call Larry at 800-269-2127. Meanwhile if ya wanna see some highlights of the first cruise check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYsYWZ8QvZw

A busy week headlined by three different tributes to one of radio’s greatest actresses, Virginia Gregg! She will be featured in episodes of The Whistler, Let George Do It, Have Gun Will Travel, Gunsmoke, Dr. Kildare and both a half-hour Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar and the weekly 5-part marathon.

We also have birthday tributes for Lou Costello, Desi Arnaz (Suspense, Bob Hope Show), Oscar winner Claire Trevor (Academy Award Theater version of “Stagecoach”, Suspense), Oscar winner Rex Harrison, multiple Oscar nominee John Garfield (Lux Radio Theater’s version of “Pride Of the Marines” Suspense, Cavalcade of America), child actor Bobby Driscoll (Lux Radio Theater’s version of “Treasure Island”), writer/producer/director David Friedkin (Crime Classics, Broadway Is My Beat, Escape), radio actress Minerva Pious (Mrs. Nussbaum on The Fred Allen Show), radio actress Lee Allman (Lenore Case on The Green Hornet) and more.

    Hi Greg,

Are there any “Bob and Ray” shows available? They were as funny as anyone else in their long history with radio.
