Highlights this week include a birthday tribute for a talented fella who has been in show biz for nearly 90 years; Mickey Rooney (Born Joseph Yule Jr on September 23rd, 1920, so he is 93 this week!) We have him in a new to the channel this week episode of The Screen Director’s Playhouse “The Human Comedy” plus he stops by The Bob Hope Show and hosts a Command Performance.

Other birthday tributes for Doris Singleton (The Whistler); F.     I am so excited about the two hour Gunsmoke special! Its my favorite old time radio program and I schedule my weekend activities around it so I don’t miss it. Your schedule comes in very handy for that. Thanks so much!
