This week is led by the birthday of George Burns, this year we honor him with a two-hour four episode special with Burns & Allen Show offerings from 1943, 1944, 1947 and 1949.
We also mark the birthdays of DeForest Kelley (Bones on Star Trek featured in one from Suspense); J. Carroll Naish (Life With Luigi, Suspense); Portland Hoffa (Fred Allen’s wife); Tudor Owen (Jocko on Pat Novak For Hire) and big screen actor Dan Duryea (Suspense).
This week also marks the 57th anniversary of the debut of the CBS western series, Fort Laramie plus we bring back Lux Radio Theater’s version of “The Lady In The Lake”, the 1947 film noir with Robert Montgomery as Phillip Marlowe.

Raymond Burr & Vic Perrin are excellent. Fort Laramie is such an awesome show, sound effects are spot on and really sounds like it’s real. It’s one of the best shows!
I don’t see anything marked New this week.
Look again – lots of new are indeed marked.
Sorry, I did a search in excel for the word New and it did not return any results
Thank you Cora and Will for your sincere sympathy. I appreciate your condolences and understand what you went through.
Instead of visions of sugarplums, my holiday memories will be of her suffering from her injuries. They say time heals all wounds and I think I am going to need a lot of time because it has been devastating for me.
