In the category of “Greg On The Move” I plan on attending a Jimmy Stewart birthday party in his hometown of Indiana, Pennsylvania on Saturday May 19th. It is located in Western Pennsylvania and hour or so east of Pittsburgh. The Jimmy Stewart Museum is located at 835 Philadelphia Street, Indiana PA 15701. The birthday event will be held at the museum from Noon to 2pm ET on Saturday May 19th. I will be sure to record some interviews and get some pictures to share with all of you later.

Meanwhile, on the channel this week we have birthday tributes for Orson Welles, Anne Baxter, Gary Cooper, Katharine Hepburn, Mike Wallace, Fred Astaire, Leslie Charteris (creator of The Saint), announcer Frank Martin and more. We also have the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar Marathon – The Indestructible Mike Matter as well as new episodes from multiple series including Let George Do It, The Saint, Candy Matson, Our Miss Brooks….

Did anyone listen to the new to the channel Candy Matson episodes. I am wondering about your opinions of the show. I thought that I was going to like it, but I was disappointed.

Does the streaming through the smartphone deplete the battery level quickly?

  3. britt says:

No, but you do get a warning about possibly exceeding your phone’s data plan with the streaming.

Whats nice is that if you get a phone call in the middle of a show, there is a 15 minute buffer that picks up where you left off and automatically plays what you missed when you hang up.

Greg, I’m so glad that I can get my Johnny Dollar marathon mix this week. I know it was a busy week last week with all the birthday specials, and I do love those specials. But my Johnny fix is something I really look forward to when I see it on the schedule. You do a great job Greg!!

  5. Will says:

I know you have to pay extra to listen on line but do you have to pay to listen by Smart Phone?
