First of all; some of you are still having trouble finding the new Greg Bell Media Facebook page. Not sure why the search works for some but not others, but here is a direct link which should work for you http://www.facebook.com/GregBellMedia

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving (and to all my fans in Canada, hope you had a wonderful Thursday :) )

In this week which takes us into the final month of 2011, we have a number of new to the channel offerings and some great birthday tributes. Headlining those will be two different two-hour specials honoring “Mr. Radio” Elliott Lewis. He’ll be heard as an actor in Voyage Of The Scarlet Queen, The Whistler, The Phil Harris & Alice Faye Show; Arch Oboler’s Plays and The Casebook Of Gregory Hood. We will also mark the birthdays of Richard Crenna (Our Miss Brooks, The Great Gildersleeve); Harry Bartell (Suspense, Gunsmoke, Escape); Mary Martin (Guest on The Jack Benny Program); Luis Van Rooten; Bob Readick; Ralph Bell and authors John Dickson Carr (Murder By Experts) and Rex Stout (Nero Wolfe).

A few other new to the channel episodes I haven’t mentioned are from The Saint, Wild Bill Hickok, Dark Fantasy, The Inner Sanctum Mysteries, The Life Of Riley, The Red Skelton Show, Nick Carter, Master Detective, Mr. District Attorney, Mr. & Mrs. North and Let George Do It (with Ken Peters filling in for an ailing Bob Bailey).

Another great schedule. I’m glad there is an Elliott Lewis tribute. He was fantastic. It’s also nice to see a Harry Bartell birthday selection. I’m curious why there is not a Sherlock Holmes with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruice in the Harry Bartell birthday selection. When I think Harry Bartell, I think Sherlock Holmes and Petri Wine. Although I suppose that was in an announcer fashion vs. as an actor.
