    Great picture Don…

Hey, a few eeks ago Greg played the last radio episode of Tales of the Texas Rangers. Did anyone ever see the TV show? Then or now?

Is it worth finding? I love the radio show

What’s always missing from “Casey, Crime Photographer”, is the popping sound of flash bulbs. Casey doesn’t seem to take many photos of the crime scenes. At the end of the recent episode he sends poor Annie down to the car to get his camera…let her lug the Speed Graphic up the stairs! Here’s what the usual press camera looked like back then:

Greetings everyone. Last night I was watching The Amazing Race and they happen to be in Vienna.. Yes I know what your thinking “Good for you Bill but what does this have to do with OTR”. Well one of the challanges was that they had to ride a Ferris Wheel and eat a meal during 1 rotation of the wheel. Again I know what your thinking “yes Bill please get to the point”. The Ferris Wheel they rode in is called Wiener Riesenrad. That is the Ferris Wheel featured in The Third Man where Harry Lime and his friend meet and take a ride. What I find Amazing is that it is the actual ride featured in the film and that it still operates today. I took out my DVD of the film and compared how the area looks then and now. Like night and day.

    Just thought I’d share.

Oh, that’s GOOD, Bill! A man after my own heart — someone who appreciates trivia. That is not to demean what you shared – au contraire, mon frere! It’s to show someone who really pays attention to radio and to LIFE. God bless and keep on watching out for things. You never know the good things you’ll find.
